“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: Fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”

NEED SOMEONE TO HOLD YOUR HAND TO PURCHASE AND STORE YOUR CRYPTO!??

This is the place for those who have no clue what to do!!!

Welcome to Crypto From Step One!
I will try to demystify the world of cryptocurrency for beginners. Here I'll provide clear, step-by-step guidance, making your entry into the world of crypto purchasing /investing straightforward. Let's explore this exciting journey together.

DISCLAIMER!!!

This is not financial or investing advice! I am not a professional financial advisor. This is only to help get you started on your journey to purchasing and investing in crypto!!!

Here we go!

This site is built on my own experiences with crypto over the last five years. I can tell you that the Lord helped me find out all the I know thus far and I'm still learning! He graciously lead me to ChatGPT and YouTube 😆 to learn from many others who are well versed in all things crypto. So I will share with you what I've learned, to help you navigate your first steps into the crypto market.

Let's begin...

Here is a quick snapshot of the "concept of blockchain technology", which is the essence of cryptocurrencies. Then we'll head on into how to make your first purchase of cryptocurrency. I want you to grasp what cryptocurrency is, decently well, and the need for it without getting into it way too deep.

WHAT IS BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY??!

Blockchain technology is a highly efficient way to store and share information securely across many computers so that no single person or organization controls it, and records can NOT be easily changed

IT IS SOON GOING TO BE THE NEW NORMAL!!!

Super easy way to think of it...

Let's say blockchain is a shared digital notebook:

  • Everyone has a copy
  • Once something is written in it, it’s very hard to erase it or alter it
  • New pages are only added after everyone agrees the information is correct. 👍🏽

This makes money transactions traceable and more honest because it's very transparent! No more money laundering! (Shoot! Just kidding)

Blockchain can and will be used for things like:

  • Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, XRP, Ethereum)
  • Smart contracts (self-executing agreements)
  • Supply chain tracking (food, medicine, luxury goods)
  • Digital identity & records
  • NFTs (digital ownership of art & media)
  • Voting systems
  • Real estate records (ownership & transactions)

Blockchain removes the middleman, making transactions virtually instant and direct.
Blockchain does for money what email did for communication! The financial systems we've had (SWIFT) since 1977 had not been updated until recently at the end of 2025. Now there is the ISO 20022 that is compliant for use of cryptocurrencies. Things are in place for the next phase of finance.

Here on this site we will focus simply on how to get you started with purchasing your crypto and then how to store it safely. This is truly for beginners.

Side-note: Here's a little crypto lingo...

There is Bitcoin, then other crypto coins are referred to as "Altcoins". There are also "Meme Coins" and "Stable Coins". Bitcoin and Altcoins (like XRP) truly have value and position (they play a key role). Meme coins "can" and have become valuable. It just depends on how popular they become. Think of them as trading cards. The ones that the majority count as valuable, they become valuable and can be used as currency. Stable Coins are the coins we will use like dollar bills. One Stable Coin will be equal to one dollar...or one hundred Stable Coins equals one hundred dollars and so on and so forth.

Important first step:

Buy your crypto!!!

Just so you know, I do not work for any of these exchanges that I will mention!
The following are exchange platforms that I have learned about over time, use myself and/ or I know people who use them. These crypto exchange sites are where you will buy your cryptocurrency.

From my own experience (and from other people I know) the following platforms mentioned below have been honest, reputable and well known sites to purchase your crypto. The platform that I chose for myself happens to be Kraken.com. I found it to be very user friendly and I am super pleased with them. I have learned that Calebandbrown.com is very accessible if you want to speak with someone as you are going through the process of buying. So here are the three crypto exchanges I recommend in no particular order:

Crypto.com

Calebandbrown.com (broker)

Coinbase.com

Kraken.com

Binance.com

https://invite.kraken.com/JDNW/e2qku1qx

If you choose to use Kraken.com as your exchange to purchase crypto, please click on the link above 👆🏽 and 🙏🏽 use my code: 4pf9kk3t

That way they can know I informed you about them, and invited you to their exchange🤓.  With using this code you can unlock rewards for yourself as well!!!

A.
CRYPTO EXCHANGES

When you sign up with any exchange platform, they will give you instructions on their site how to

1) Register with them

2) Verify who you are

3) Link your bank account to your new account with them so you will be able to begin making transactions. All I can say is...TRUST THE PROCESS!

I know it's always scary linking your bank account up to a website but this is really the only way to purchase your crypto🤷🏽‍♀️.

It's usually done through PLAID or some cryptic way to keep your information safe.

B.
WHAT DO I BUY??

I can't tell you what coins to buy, but I can tell you a few coins I have learned about thus far and I will just leave this right here...

• Bitcoin, although it has a very high price point right now...It will most likely (high key likely!) go up much higher in price in the near future. So I think it would be better to have a "bit" of a Bitcoin than none at all.🤷🏽‍♀️ It is being stored up on by almost all big financial institutions (Example: Blackrock, Goldman Sachs). Think of Bitcoin as the "new gold" that will back up your currency.

•XRP is known to be one of the most efficient coins. It has been talked about in the crypto financial markets for a while now and it seems like everyone wants some of this coin as well.

•Ethereum, from what I've seen personally with buying and moving around my own crypto, is like the fuel to move the coins around and it helps developers build decentralized apps and smart contracts. I just know it costs me a little bit of Ethereum when I transfer certain coins. Fuel/ building blocks are always a good thing to have as assets😉.

•Solana and Cardano are coins aligned with the ISO 20022 standards, along with the other coins mentioned above.

**On a very serious note however, pray and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance on what to buy as you do your own research on what is available out there!🙏🏽 God won't steer you wrong!!!**

How do I keep my cryptocurrency safe?

Once you have established your crypto exchange platform and have made your purchases of crypto, you will absolutely need to store it in a safe, secure place. The internet is quite volatile and anything could happen. Like a system glitch or shutdown of some sort could happen, wiping out your purchases. Maybe a hacker gets into your PC or phone, stealing your crypto.
You will want store your crypto on something called a "cold wallet". It's your own personal "vault" that you can carry around with you or keep somewhere in your home. It will have some pre-set seed phrases, passcodes and everything you would need to keep your crypto secure and safe.
Sidenote: A lot of experts in the crypto space say to guard your passcodes and seed phrases the old fashioned way...on paper! Then absolutely remember where you have put them of course!!!😅

These are the cold wallets I have and use myself:

The Tangem Wallet

The Ledger-Nano-X

There are many types of wallets. I started out with the Tangem wallet because I learned from others that it was very simple and user friendly, and it was! I do recommend trying it out while getting yourself used to transferring your crypto from your exchange account to your wallet. The Tangem keeps your crypto safe, but it is still a bit accessible via the internet. I like to keep this one though because I believe it will be easier to use this wallet when I start making actual purchases/transactions for real life shopping with my cryptocurrency.

I mostly use the Ledger Nano X now because it locks away my crypto completely off the internet and into a little drive looking gadget. It was a bit more intimidating, but I got the hang of how to use it.

There are several brands/types of cold wallets, so look around and decide for yourself of course, what works best for you. I don't work for any of the cold wallet companies I previously mentioned either, but I know they work very well so I'm giving you what I know from my experience.

Transfering your crypto can be a bit nerve wrecking but the main thing is, THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON THE PAGES THAT COME WITH YOUR PURCHASE. Follow them and do not rush!!!

1. Firstly, make sure that you have downloaded the right apps that go along with your cold wallet, and/or make sure your wallet is fully charged (if it requires charging), and be certain your phone is compatible with your wallet and be sure the version of your wallet is up to date. Sometimes they have automatic updates like our phones do. You'll want to plug into your PC, have the app open on your PC and check for updates. Whatever you use, you will want to make sure everything is working properly and ready to go before you start trying to transfer anything!!! (I made the mistake of rushing into things and just about passed away from fear because it looked like my cryptocurrency disappeared☠️.) Also be sure to have a good email address to use, because you will use it all the time with verification processes.

2. Your cold wallet will have a specific withdrawal and/or receive address for receiving and sending crypto. Depending on what type of wallet you are transferring to, there will be a way to verify your account and transfer address each time you move your currency. If you ever need to send your crypto back to your exchange, your exchange platform will also have a specific address to receive the crypto back. You will see these addresses in the withdrawals/ receive options on your app account. It's usually something you can copy and paste, verify and then send.
